I can’t believe the time.
The girls only left a minute ago … well that’s what it feels like.
I had planned to do some filing today and in particular pay some bills and stuff like that. However, I got a little side tracked and made a ‘spike’ for my receipts with a wire coat hanger and a piece of wood I found whilst cleaning out my tool box (the things one does to avoid filing and paying bills!)
Well I did kind of do some filing, I put all my receipts on the spike. Surely that counts.
Apart from that I finished my knitted/crochet flower necklace …
I’m quite pleased with it considering I don’t know how to crochet and just made it up as I went along.
I also made delicious broccoli and cauliflower soup
Just fry one small onion chopped in a little olive oil until softened
Add half a broccoli and half a cauliflower head broken into small florets
Then add 1 pint of vegetable stock, salt & pepper and serve with a sprinkling of parmesan shavings and toasted ciabatta bread.
