Join me for a live class on Saturday 2nd April at 11.00 am. We will be doing two projects. We will start with a quick little watercolour painting of Peter Rabbit’s jacket and then move onto sewing the jacket for your cottage garden. It can also be placed in a plant pot, used as a gift tag or on a card. Why not make a few and turn into a pretty bunting. The options are endless.
Description
This is the perfect little project to get your creative juices flowing. Enjoy some mindful making and escapism and get transported into the world of Beatrix Potter. Slow stitching and painting encourages you to get lost in the moment, focusing on the stitches and task in hand. The emphasis is on taking time out to be creative, with less emphasis on perfection and more on enjoyment.
The class covers two projects. We will start with a quick little watercolour painting of Peter Rabbit’s jacket and then move onto sewing the jacket for your cottage garden. It can also be placed in a plant pot, used as a gift tag or on a card. Why not make a few and turn into a pretty bunting. The options are endless.
We will be using basic stitches, no embroidery or sewing skills are needed. As long as you can thread a needle and sew a stitch, that’s all you will need. However, if you are planning to have it outside I would suggest using a sewing machine.
I recommend you switch off your phone, play some nice music in the background, light a candle, make yourself a nice cuppa and anything that’s going to create a little mini retreat for yourself.
Once you purchase this class you will receive instant access to the class and template for the jacket.
