Here’s a few pictures of a little Halloween Village Vignette I created. I’d like to say it was for my niece and nephew but of course it was entirely for me and my inner 5 year old.
The witches are staycationing in the Dead and Breakfast this year. Due to the fact they are a coven of witches they are not breaking any covid lockdown rules. The ghosts are already dead and the bats are so over being blamed for covid at this stage!
I hope you enjoy, I’ve certainly had fun making it.

It started with these cute pumpkins I made from air dry clay. Super easy to do. Just forms ball in your hand with the clay, like you’re making a meatball, and indent the lines with the back of a knife. I just finished them off with a stick as a stalk.

Then I added some of the peg doll witches I made a couple of years ago. This is what I love about handmade decorations, they come out year after year.

Then I added some signs, made from black card. I made a stand for the brooms from a log I sawed down and drilled holes into.
The witches brooms are just made from sticks and twine.

The bats on the mirror are just bat shapes cut from black card. The witches hats are also made from card. You can use the template below to make them.

The yarn ghosts are super easy to make too. Just wool in the shape of tassels with black paint for the faces. If you follow me on Instagram I have all the steps saved in my Highlights reel.
